In over 25 years in the pharmaceutical industry, I have gained extensive experience as a Qualified Person (QP) and as a complete quality expert in Advanced Therapeutic Medicinal Products. I completed my PhD at the University of Amsterdam and have held various leadership roles in quality at Selborne Biological Services, Banner Pharmacaps, Synthon Biopharmaceuticals, PharmSupport, Lonza, and Glycostem Therapeutics.
My background in molecular biology and industry experience is unique in allowing me to understand the scientific aspects of cell and gene medicine development and the quality requirement for medicinal products for human use. I have also supported numerous companies during international inspections and contributed to the scientific community through advisory boards and guest lecturing.
Currently, I provide consultancy services and advisory roles for various companies, and I’m excited to continue sharing my expertise.
